The HuskeeOriginal cup and lid set pairs one reusable coffee husk cup with a HuskeeOriginal universal lid, ready for to-go orders. It comes in 6oz, 8oz, 12oz and 16oz, in Natural or Charcoal.

The cup is dishwasher safe, BPA-free and comfortable to hold, and the HuskeeOriginal universal lid fits every size in the range. Cups stack neatly to save space behind the counter.

Choose how you buy

  • Sample Pack: 1 cup and lid, to try a size before you stock up
  • Wholesale Case: 12 cups and lids

The lid in this set is the HuskeeOriginal universal lid, which is also sold on its own in 4-packs and 48-lid cases.

Each set works with HuskeeSwap, the cup exchange program that lets customers trade a used cup for a clean one. For dine-in service, add matching HuskeeOriginal saucers.

HuskeeOriginal is microwave safe with the lid off, but Huskee does not recommend repeated microwave use. See the full HuskeeOriginal range for 4-cup packs and espresso cups.

At the end of its life, the set can go back through HuskeeLoop, Huskee's closed-loop recycling program, which collects worn products and turns them into new ones.

Eco-composite polymer, coffee husk waste, food contact approved, BPA free

We have ingeniously crafted our HuskeeCup material from coffee husk, a byproduct of the coffee industry. This innovative repurposing approach breathes new life into this waste, aligning sustainability with style. Not only does this contribute to the financial well-being of our coffee farmers, but it also mitigates the problem of waste accumulation in landfills and reduces the risk of pest infestations and fire hazards.

Material Features

  • Repurposes coffee husk, a natural waste byproduct
  • Husk sourced as close to manufacture as possible, to reduce emissions
  • Silicone gasket easily replaceable if damaged
  • Low embodied energy
  • Compatible with HuskeeSwap
  • End-of-life solution through HuskeeLoop

The most hygienic and efficient way to clean HuskeeCup's is to put them through a dishwasher to ensure that they are washed at a minimum temperature and are correctly sanitised. We advise that there aren't any sharp objects loosely packed with HuskeeCup's due to the ability of them to potentially damage the surface of the cup.

If you do not have a dishwasher, you can manually sanitise by following advice from the Food Standards here or can efficiently clean your HuskeeCup by:

  1. Using a damp microfibre cloth with a small amount of detergent can be used to help remove stubborn marks, such as removing lipstick from HuskeeCups.
  2. For tough stains or odours, soak HuskeeCup's in a tub of hot water with 1 tsp of espresso machine cleaner per cup, for 8 hours/overnight.
