If you do not have a dishwasher, you can manually sanitise by following advice from the Australian Food Standards here or can efficiently clean your HuskeeRenew by using a damp microfibre cloth with a small amount of detergent can be used to help remove stubborn marks, such as removing lipstick from HuskeeRenew.
FAQs
What is HuskeeRenew made from?
HuskeeRenew is made from Tritan Renew 50, a material containing 50% post-consumer recycled plastic. It is free from BPA, BPS, BPF, and BPB, giving you a clear, durable, food-safe cup made with a high proportion of reclaimed material - a different sustainable option to the coffee-husk HuskeeOriginal range.
How is HuskeeRenew different from the original HuskeeCup?
HuskeeRenew differs from the original HuskeeCup mainly in material: HuskeeRenew uses 50% post-consumer recycled Tritan, while HuskeeOriginal is made from coffee husk. Renew has a lighter, semi-translucent look in Amber and Smoke colours, while keeping the same universal lid and saucer compatibility.
What sizes and colours is HuskeeRenew available in?
HuskeeRenew is available in 6oz, 8oz, 12oz, and 16oz sizes, in two colours - Amber and Smoke. It can be bought as a single Cup & Lid or in 4-Packs, with matching Classic Stopper Lids and Renew Saucers also available.
Is HuskeeRenew dishwasher-friendly and reusable?
Yes, HuskeeRenew is dishwasher-friendly and built for long-term reuse. It is durable, comfortable to hold, stackable for storage, and uses a replaceable silicone gasket so you can refresh the seal rather than replace the whole cup.
Can HuskeeRenew be recycled at the end of its life?
HuskeeRenew can be returned through the HuskeeLoop closed-loop recycling program. End-of-life cups are collected and repurposed into new products, keeping the material in use and out of landfill.
Is HuskeeRenew suitable for wholesale and HuskeeSwap?
Yes, HuskeeRenew is suitable for wholesale orders and works within the HuskeeSwap exchange system. Its universal lid and saucer compatibility means cafes can run Renew alongside other Huskee ranges without changing their swap setup.
