We have ingeniously crafted our HuskeeOriginal material from coffee husk, a byproduct of the coffee industry. The most hygienic and efficient way to clean HuskeeOriginal cups is to put them through a dishwasher to ensure that they are washed at a minimum temperature and are correctly sanitized. We advise that there aren't any sharp objects loosely packed with HuskeeOriginal cups due to the ability of them to potentially damage the surface of the cup.

If you do not have a dishwasher, you can manually sanitize by following advice from the Australian Food Standards here or can efficiently clean your HuskeeOriginal by:

1. Using a damp microfibre cloth with a small amount of detergent can be used to help remove stubborn marks, such as removing lipstick from HuskeeOriginal.

• 2. For tough stains or odors, soak HuskeeOriginal cups in a tub of hot water with 1 tsp of espresso machine cleaner per cup, for 8 hours/overnight.

What is HuskeeCup made from?    

HuskeeCup is made from repurposed coffee husk combined with a food-safe, BPA-free eco-composite polymer. The husk is a waste by-product of coffee processing, so each cup turns something that would be discarded into a durable, reusable product.

Is HuskeeCup good for cafes and wholesale orders?    

Yes, HuskeeCup is built for cafe and wholesale use. The cups are stackable to save counter and shelf space, dishwasher-friendly for fast turnaround, and fully compatible with the HuskeeSwap exchange program. Wholesale buyers can order in 4-Packs, Single Cup & Lid Combos, or larger bundles of 24, 32, and 48.

What sizes and colors does HuskeeCup come in?    

HuskeeCup comes in 3oz, 6oz, 8oz, 12oz, and 16oz sizes and two colors: Natural and Charcoal. The universal lids and saucers fit across the range, so you can mix sizes while keeping a consistent look behind the counter.

Is HuskeeCup dishwasher and microwave safe?    

Yes, HuskeeCup is dishwasher safe and microwave safe, with one limit. You can run it through a commercial dishwasher between services and reheat a drink in the microwave with the lid off, but Huskee does not recommend repeated microwave use, so reheat now and then rather than every day. How long does a HuskeeCup last, and what happens at the end of its life?    

A HuskeeCup is designed to be reused thousands of times. When it finally reaches the end of its life, you can return it through the HuskeeLoop closed-loop program or a HuskeeSwap site, where we collect and repurpose it into new products instead of sending it to a landfill.

Does HuskeeCup keep drinks hot, and is it hot to hold?
